The Coach is a relaxed non-bookable pub in Marlow, recently bought, refurbished and reopened by Tom and Beth Kerridge and the team behind The Hand and Flowers. The style and ambience of the pub had been carefully considered and as such they needed a website to support this and the buzz that would inevitably be generated by the opening.
The website design was actioned before the refurbishment was complete, so after a meeting to look at the mood boards and plans for the pub there was a clear direction that needed to be followed in order to convey the style successfully online. From there the designs were drawn up and content management system was integrated with some stylish gallery effects. The aims were to give visitors to the site a taster of the experience they’d get from the pub itself by whetting their appetite with good photography and menus.
The new design makes good use of the professional photography commissioned by The Coach to help create intrigue and feeling of quality.
This was likely to be the most visited page on the site, so needed to be straight forward but appealing at the same time.
“Orange Grove was ace. Louisa’s website development skills are second to none. Helping develop two websites with us, she has worked with us to ensure that the right feel is shown throughout all our online information. She is always happy to help with anything we need, no matter how big or the small the job is! Orange Grove have been a great help to us both at The Hand and Flowers and The Coach.”Tom Kerridge
